Archives Visits and Instruction, Suitland, Md. and Washington, D.C., February 2015

Mid-February 2015 was chock full of Potawatomi-focused activities, from a visit to the Anthropological Archives in Suitland Maryland to paging through Joseph Napoleon Bourassa's Potawatomi Dictionary, to viewing gorgeous beadwork and ribbon work crafted by our people a century and more ago, to touring the Nation to Nation exhibit at the NMAI in Washington, D.C., to learning beadwork from two master Potawatomi craftswomen during an afternoon in our District #2 office. Even all these photos don't do justice to the depth and breadth of the weekend. Please enjoy the armchair tour!
