Baltimore, Maryland, May 4, 2013

Chairman Barrett and Vice Chairman Capps returned to the East coast in late Spring and hosted a meeting in Baltimore attended by CPN members from Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, California and Missouri. Lenore Tescier Dusold was recognized as the wisest attendee and her great granddaughter Allanah as the youngest attendee; Pettifer family member Paula Rose, from San Diego, California, was the farthest travelled. Legislator Roy Slavin (District #1), Tribal Rolls Director Chuck Clark, and Asst. Director of Public Information John VanPool, also attended. It was great to visit with so many people who have become friends during my time as your Legislator. Tesciers and Pettifers were particularly well represented, and I enjoyed catching up with, among others, the one Kahdot family member present, Davis Hobdy -- the Kahdots are from a CPN founding family that is smaller than the Juneaus -- and with Anderson family members Sue Wagner and Amy Hones. I hope you enjoy the day's photos.
